Story of this Build
Started as a bias to the Subaru brand early on during my childhood, eventually becoming an unhealthy obsession with the STI. The theme behind this build came from countless hours of scrolling through other builds online, mostly examples from abroad, taking inspiration from people I look up to, and slowly figuring out what I personally wanted out of the car. I also wanted to build something that felt a little more like me, especially putting effort into the smaller details, and creating something that could stand out (for better or for worse). There’s definitely a lot of influence from the clean and understated builds that are so popular in our car scene, but I wanted to take my own interpretation of the STI in a slightly different direction while still keeping the car functional and enjoyable to drive. It’s been a gradual process of figuring out what I like, changing my mind along the way, and learning from other enthusiasts, and I’m sure the build will continue to evolve as I do.
